Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is a common condition affecting the narrowing of the throat during sleep which interrupts normal breathing. OSA may be classified as apnoea, we muscles and soft tissues to cause blockage of the airway, or hypopnoea, partial blockage of the airway resulting in airflow reduction.
