Reflux

Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) is a common gastrointestinal condition where acid from the stomach leaks up into the esophagus. Oesophageal muscles weaken which causes unpleasant symptoms in the upper GI tract. Reflux occurs predominantly in adults, and babies in the form of colic and
heartburn in pregnancy.
