Eating Disorders

Eating disorders are characterized by an abnormal attitude towards food that affects behavior. Types of eating disorders may include anorexia nervosa, a condition associated with starvation or excessive exercise. Bulimia is a condition which is associated with binge eating followed by medication to evacuate the bowel or deliberately vomit. Binge eating disorder is a condition associated with overeating in a short space of time.
