Parasitic infection is an infectious disease transmitted by parasites caused predominantly by organisms protozoa, helminths, and ectoparasites. Malaria is one of the deadliest parasitic infections found predominantly in tropical regions. Other common parasitic infections are giardiasis, trichomoniasis, toxoplasmosis, or cryptosporidiosis.
