Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is common in the aging man and is associated with prostate enlargement, prostatitis or
inflammation of the prostate, or prostate cancer. The prostate gland surrounds the urethra which ordinarily produces a thick
white fluid mixed with sperm to create semen.
